Fished Redondo yesterday and I'm no marine biologist but it looks like there might be a red tide blooming. At first I thought it was an oil spill or something related to the start of the lobster season.

According to the map below, it looks like there are blooms up and down the coast.

This is the particular species actually observed in the last 7 days. Data show them to be harmless.

Works for me, it also looks like foul weather moving in.
