Re: 12/06/2020 Baytubers Monthly Halibut Tournament - Cabrillo
it was just like old times...
5 anglers:
Don "Bellcon"
Greg "gregandrew"
Roby "Roby"
James "theluckypig"
Alicia "Sandybeach" (not "Sandybottom"...)
0 fish...
it's been a slow year for halibut... and even slower now that it's winter...
all participants decided to let the entry $ rollover to the next tournament.. (i think that will be how we do it for all future tournaments when no fish are caught) that makes $100 already in the pot for next month.
it was great to be on the water and the hunt with you all!
see you next month!
only a mini version...5 anglers:

Cool pics James
Yep just like old times show up to Cabrillo beach in the dark give my cash to some guy and never see it again
but at least this time I have another shot to get it back
When you don't have fish porn you have to take pics of something right?
So here you go
Good morning San Pedro:

Its still trippy to see the pier empty guess we gotta keep all those pier rats safe from covid

As a kids we were all over these warfs fishing our drop lines... good old days

Now you know exactly what 8"-12" Green backs look like on the meter
It was as many as you wanted but I could only find a couple smaller ones so it was one of those "Big bait = Big fish" days... except the big fish part
Over all great day fishing with the crew slooooooow but another day back in the saddle feels good.
Thanks for setting it up James

I haven't been to Cabrillo in a looong time. It was a great being on the water and fishing a familiar spot...unfortunately, got a familiar result. See you guys on the next one...
