14 Anglers joined us today to brave the 25mph Santa Ana winds that thankfully never really materialized.
Turned out to be a beautiful day on the water even if the fishing was on the slow side.

Rumors on the radio had fish being caught all morning but the 2pm weigh in only had 2 participants.
Taking second place was Matt with a 10.12lb entry and the winner of the first Baytuber Tournament for 2013 was
Andy Acevedo with a nice 13.83lb halibut.

Congrats Andy! your secret spot delivers once again!

We got lucky with no wind

Searched high and low, with not much action. I triple checked my favorite spots. Deep, shallow, nothing but a sculpin. Went to a depth I rarely fish at Cabrillo, and managed a keeper late in the day. Turns out everyone had a slow day and managed the win!

Good seeing everybody and catchin up with you guys.

Figured you guys were getting pummeled. We had wind in Sunset Beach 15-20 through the morning dropping to 10-12 for the afternoon. Congrats Andy!
