Love Fishing

Post by alanhighhand »

Hi everyone! I have been fishing on a jetski for 2 years. It became boring so I decided to try something new. I came up with kayak fishing. I still do not have one but I am looking forward to get one. What do you guys think about Hobie Pro Angler 12?

Thanks. I think paddle kayak would make me tired, besides I am a rookie. Do any one of you guys have Pro Angler 12? If you do, please give me more info. and should I buy it? I would appreciate it.

Alan you should be able to post on the general board now
may have better luck there with responses, I know there are a few PA12s users around here

The main complaint I have with any PA is they do not perform well in the surf
other than that they are great fishing platforms

You could probably demo one at Icemans shop;

good luck

Welcome!

I have a PA12. Surf launching isnt so bad, its the surf landing. Still have not rolled it but thats my only issue with it. If you have a pickup it works out great to toss in the back. Its a great fishing boat, but you should try a few and see what you like. OEX Sunset beach has them all.

Kayak fishing is much simpler, slower and quieter than a jetski, and thats why you will probably catch more fish 8-)
