Great job on landing the Monster. It was our first tourney with Bay Tubers and we had a blast. Looking forward to the next one.

17 anglers showed up for this one.
A slow morning turned into a feeding frenzy later in the day, with many guys hooking up on the right kind.
But no one could touch the fish Jorge brought to the scale.
A 45 pound 46" beast! the biggest halibut I have ever seen pulled from Cabrillo.
Congrats Jorge, told you I was just holding your money.
The standings for today went something like this
1. Jorge - 45lbs 5 oz
2. Dave Pliska - 26 lbs 8 0z
3. Gabe - 22 lbs 8oz. (At 43" Gabes fish was only 3" shorter than Jorges fish, and almost 23 lbs lighter...?)
4. Tom - 3 fish at 9.5lbs, 10 lbs and 6 lbs
5. Pino - 9lbs 1 oz
6. Andy Acevado - 7 lbs 8 oz
7. Caden - 5lbs 7 oz
8. Matt - 1 fish @ ?
Big thanks to everyone for showing up and supporting the tourney. Matt did an excellent job with he food, Jorge will now have to try and top him.
Good seeing everyone, lots of new faces, and a surprise appearance by Mr. Pliska himself, The true king of halibut fishing!
Congrats again on "the fish of a lifetime" Jorge, glad I could be part of your day
