We had 11 anglers today, some old faces and some new faces.
Special mention to Jim "Deamon", for making the long drive to join us, good seeing you again.
Thanks to everyone who showed up, and thanks to Tony for running the BBQ
Thanks to Sean "HuntersPa" for the morning donuts and the Ahi Pro Mar jigs and gear, for everyone, very generous of you!
I think that about covers it...
I lost a heavy bite, and C&Red a pair of BSB
OK OK
Now comes the good part
BIG TIME CONGRATS TO THE LUCKIEST PIG I KNOW!... WOW... WHAT A DAY BROTHER!
1ST PLACE WITH A TOTAL 3 FISH WEIGHT OF 74 POUNDS 7 OUNCES IS THE NEW HALIBUT MASTA... "KING JAMES"!
James actually caught 4 big halibut today, #1. 31lbs-5oz, #2. 23lbs-8oz, #3. 19lbs-10oz, #4. 12lbs-13oz. easily one of the biggest totals in a long time.
2nd Place was Greg with a fat one at 19 pound 12oz.
3rd Place was Tony with a nice 12 pound 4 oz. fish.
There was another fat fish caught, at least thats what the rumors on the water were,
something about a 45 pound beast... blah blah blah... radio chatter?

i was the lucky pig today... big thanks to Don for managing these tournaments (and sharing the rigging info...)! Greg (and Tony) the steaks were great! That mystery fish that the mexican guy caught was the beast of the day... but again, lucky me... it's great fishing with you all, as usual... and truly, the best thing about these tournaments is the radio chatter!!! we were cracking up all day long! good times!
